Reading female pelvis MRIs can be intimidating, especially when you're trying to piece together anatomy and complex pathology from textbooks alone. This course bridges the gap.

I've curated a highly specific list of 34 essential gyne MRI cases designed to take you from the basics to fellowship-level competence as efficiently as possible. You'll practise on a real PACS-style viewer, learning how to characterise adnexal masses (including O-RADS MRI), locally stage cervical and endometrial tumours, and identify congenital uterine anomalies.

It's about building the pattern recognition and muscle memory you need to feel confident at the workstation — not just recognising diagnoses on a page.

Who This Course Is For

R4–R5 residents. Body imaging fellows. Staff radiologists who want to be more confident with gyne MRI. Any radiologist who wants to stop second-guessing adnexal mass characterisation and pelvic staging.

Pathologies include:

Adnexal Masses

  • Including dermoids, endometriomas, epithelial malignancy, and borderline tumours

Pelvic Malignancy Staging

  • Including endometrial cancer and cervical cancer staging

Congenital Uterine Anomalies

  • Including Müllerian agenesis, unicornuate uterus, and uterus didelphys

O-RADS MRI Framework

  • Including adnexal lesion characterisation for surgical planning

What You'll Learn

  1. 1Identify and characterise common and complex adnexal masses using the O-RADS MRI framework.
  2. 2Differentiate bulk fat from intravoxel fat, and evaluate T2 shading to accurately diagnose complex cystic lesions like endometriomas and dermoids.
  3. 3Accurately stage endometrial and cervical cancers locally by evaluating myometrial, serosal, and parametrial invasion.
  4. 4Classify congenital Mullerian duct anomalies confidently on multiplanar MRI.

"Every money counts — coming from a different country, every payment seems like a lot. But it was the best investment I made. When I started my fellowship, I felt confident. I felt like I was part of the team."

Nikahat Yasmine, Radiology Fellow (Year 3), University of Iowa
